Have you ever wondered where you can find a Daft Punk helmet? For those who don't understand what I'm talking about watch this for all the others there are some good news, you can make one by yourself!
"I made this for my Halloween costume this year.
It's a 16x5 LED matrix installed inside a cheap motorcycle helmet I found on Amazon. I used the Arduino to program all the animations.
The LEDs are on cardboard, so I punched holes between every single LED and some larger slits around the sides in order to see out."
If your are intrested to learn how to make beautiful interactives constructions like the above and you are settled in Thessaloniki there is a seminar in DYNAMO gallery. For more info press this.
DOWNING OF A NEW ERA
It's been more than two years since my last post and probably most of the readers (if there are any) would think that YAOURTA is an abandoned blog with many crap postings and no interest. This post is made in order to remind that I'm still here.
In order to make a new start I'll delete all previous posts (most of them written in greeklish, something really uncomfortable, specially for foreign readers) and begin with some fresh & new staff.
Poster I made for my girl's DJ set. Photo of instalation/collage & acrilic on cardboard
